In between client work I have been working on this picture book about an Ugly Cat. . ....The folks in the pueblo have no love for this critter as he visits looking for food, milk and a warm place to curl up.
This story is told in two languages: Spanish and English, bringing children in classrooms together and is perfect for ages 4-6.

“The Tornado” was met with great success and now stands as the first illustration in a new retelling of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, my current personal work in progress.
I was inspired by Evan Schwartz’s insightful biography of L. Frank Baum, I’ve embarked on a personal journey to revisit and revise the original story. Something TOTALLY different ....a personal course project!
I had a wonderful experience taking a course on "REPEAT PATTERNS" with the end goal to learn how to create beautiful end sheets for my book projects but I learned even more!
