The Tornado” was met with great success and now stands as the first illustration in a new retelling of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, my current personal work in progress. I was inspired by Evan Schwartz’s insightful biography of L. Frank Baum, I’ve embarked on a personal journey to revisit and revise the original story. Along the way, I’ve been weaving in fascinating details from Baum’s life and family—touches I hope will delight devoted Oz fans. Below is a sneak peek.....UPDATE: In the coloring stage!

Something TOTALLY different ....a personal course project!
I had a wonderful experience taking a course on "REPEAT PATTERNS" with the end goal to learn how to create beautiful end sheets for my book projects, but I learned even more!
