"I’ve always been captivated by the fluid, organic movement of lines across paper. As a daydreamer and doodler, I find inspiration in their expressive nature—whether curious, scratchy, implied, delicate, or simply beautiful. My goal is to create worlds that invite every creative soul to wander and explore."
I am a former full-time professor of drawing, storyboard, characters, and environments at the Savannah College of Art and Design (2018-2025) and have been an educator for the past 18 years. I have now transitioned to full-time studio work while also serving as the Regional Illustration Coordinator for the SCBWI Southern Breeze Region. I have recently accepted a position with Hollins University teaching Portfolio to their MFA Graduates for the Children's Literature and Illustration program.
